Balans sayıları ve cebirsel özellikleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada tamsayı dizilerinde yeni bir kavram olan balans sayıları ele alınmış ve bu sayıların bazı cebirsel özellikleri verilmiştir. Ayrıca bu sayıların Pell, Pell-Lucas ve oblong sayıları ile olan ilişkisi üzerinde durulmuştur. Birinci bölümde, daha sonraki bölümlerde kullanılacak olan bazı temel kavramlara ve teoremlere yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, oblong sayıları ele alınmış ve bu sayıların Pell formu ve Pell denklem-lerinin tamsayı çözümleri ile olan ilişkisi üzerinde durulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde ise, balans sayıları geniş bir şekilde ele alınmış ve bu sayıların bazı cebirsel özellikleri ile bu sayıların Pell, Pell-Lucas ve balans sayılar ile olan ilişkisi üzerinde durulmuştur.

In this work, some algebraic properties of balancing numbers and their relationships with Pell, Pell-Lucas and oblong numbers are considered. In the first section, the preliminary notations, definitions and theorems which are to be used in later sections are given. In the second section, oblong numbers are considered. Some properties of oblong num-bers are derived. Also the connection with Pell form and integer solutions of some spe-cific Pell equations is discussed. In the third section, balancing numbers are considered widely. Some properties of bal-ancing numbers are given. Further, the connection with oblong, Pell, Pell-Lucas and balancing numbers are considered.
