Hasan Ali Toptaş’ın “Sonsuzluğa Nokta” romanında dil bilgisel uzam kodlayıcıları

Abstract

Bu çalışmada zaman ve kişi unsurlarıyla birlikte bir anlatının temel öğelerinden biri olan dil bilgisel uzam kavramı incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini Hasan Ali Toptaş’ın “Sonsuzluğa Nokta” romanı, örneklemini ise yine bu romandan alınan cümleler oluşturmuştur. Tezin amacı, uzamı belirlemede etkili olan unsurları saptayarak uzam kodlayıcılarını ve bunların arasındaki bağlantıları belirlemek böylece Türkiye Türkçesinde dil bilgisel uzam çözümlemesi konusunda bir yöntem ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmaya bu bakış açısıyla bütüncül olarak yaklaşılmış, dil bilgisel uzam konusu en küçük birimden başlayarak ek, sözcük, sözcük öbeği, cümle, metin bağlamında söylem çözümlemesi açısından ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın Giriş bölümünde tezin kapsamı, amacı, önemi, derlemi ile yöntem ve sınırlılıkları açıklanmıştır. Ardından uzam bilgisine ve uzamın Türkiye Türkçesinde nasıl görüldüğüne dair genel teorik bilgiler sunulmuştur. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünü, asıl öneminin ortaya konduğu İnceleme bölümü oluşturmaktadır. Buna göre uzam bilgisi, hem konum hem mekân / yer çerçevesinde bağlam içerisinde bütüncül bir çerçevede değerlendirilmiştir. Öncelikle uzam bilgisine konumsal açıdan yaklaşılmış uzamsal ilişkiler belirlenmiştir. Ardından uzam kodlayıcı olarak adlar, eylemler, belirteçler, ilgeçler ve bu kodlayıcıları taşıyan ekler belirlenmiş bağlam temelli bir yaklaşımla incelenmiştir. Daha sonra romanda uzam bilgisinde somuttan soyuta geçiş ve doğrudan ya da dolaylı olarak verilen uzam bilgisi, tekrarlar ve sezdirim / çıkarım cümleleriyle ele alınmıştır. Bu noktada dil içi / dil dışı göndermeler ve metin içi bağlamdan yararlanılmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde incelemeden elde edilen sonuçlarla, kısaca dil bilgisel uzam incelemesi için hangi noktalara dikkat edilmesi gerektiğinden söz edilmiş ardından kaynaklar sunularak çalışma tamamlanmıştır.

In this study, the concept of grammatical space, which is one of the basic elements of a narrative together with time and person elements, was tried to be examined. The subject of the study is Hasan Ali Toptaş's novel "Sonsuzluğa Nokta", and the sample is the sentences taken from that novel. The aim of this thesis is to detect the factors that are effective in determining the space, to determine the space encoders and the connections between them, thus to present a method for grammatical space analysis in Turkish of Turkey. With this perspective, the study was approached holistically and the subject of grammatical space was discussed in terms of discourse analysis in the context of suffixes, words, phrases, sentences, and texts, starting from the smallest unit. In the introduction part of the study, the scope, purpose, importance, corpus, method, and limitations of the thesis are explained. Then, general theoretical information about the knowledge of space and how space is seen in Turkish of Turkey is presented. The second part of the study is the Investigation part, in which its main importance is revealed. Accordingly, knowledge of space was evaluated in a holistic framework within the context of both location and space/place. First of all, knowledge of space was approached from a spatial perspective and spatial relations were determined. Then, nouns, verbs, adverbs, prepositions and suffixes carrying these encoders as space encoder were examined with a determined context-based approach. Later in the novel, the transition from concrete to abstract in the knowledge of space and the knowledge of space given directly or indirectly are discussed with repetitions and implicature / inference sentences. At this point, intra-language / extra-language references and intext context were used. In the conclusion part, by making use of the results obtained from the examination, the points to be considered for the grammatical space analysis were mentioned, and then the study was completed by presenting the references.
