İslamcılık tartışmaları ekseninde Said Halim Paşa ve görüşleri

Abstract

Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun yıkılmaya yüz tuttuğu son dönemlerinde siyasal ve toplumsal açıdan adeta buhran dönemi içerisinde olduğu bilinmektedir. O dönem buhrandan kurtulma maksatlı arayışların, fikri tahayyüllerin ve bu tahayyüllerden doğan uygulamaların vaki olduğu da malumdur. İslamcılık akımı, bu tahayyüllerin en etkili ve en önemlilerindendir. İslamcılar, devleti yıkımdan kurtarmak için gelişmiş Batı medeniyetini birebir tatbik etme heveslisi olan aydınların karşısına, İslam medeniyetinin temel ilkelerini revize ederek çıkmışlardır. İslamcı aydınlar arasında duruşuyla ve fikirleriyle istisnai bir yer tutan Said Halim Paşa bir takım konularda İslamcılarla aynı görüşlere sahip olmakla birlikte bazı konularda da ayrılığa düşmüş ve bunu eserlerinde açıkça ifade etmiştir.

It is known that the Ottoman Empire was in the period of depression in terms of political and social in its demolition process. It is also known that the quests to get rid of the problems of that time, the imaginations of ideas, and the practices arising from these imaginations were present. The ‘Islamist movement’ is the most influential and most important of these imaginations. Islamists have come out against intellectuals who were eager to imitate advanced Western civilization in order to save the state from destruction by revising the basic principles of the civilization of İslam. Said Halim Pasha who held an exceptional position among the Islamist intellectuals with his attitude and ideas, had agreed with other Islamists on some issues but not all of them and he made it clear that in his works.
