Paul Ricoeur’de dil, etik ve politika

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Paul Ricoeur’ün dil, etik ve politika görüşlerinin birbirleri ile ilişkileri ele alınmıştır. Bu anlamda Ricoeur felsefesinde ele alınan dil, etik ve politika kavramları çerçevesinde bir sistematizasyon yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde, Antik Yunan’dan 20.yüzyıla kadar olan süreçte dil ve politik olanın nasıl ilişkilendirildiği gösterilmeye çalışılmış ve Ricoeur’ün dil çözümlemesine etki eden filozoflara yer verilmiştir. Böylece Paul Ricoeur’ün, dil tartışmaları içerisinde hangi noktada durduğu gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde, Ricoeur’ün dil çözümlemesine dair yapmış olduğu ayrımlar ve kavramsallaştırmalar ele alınmıştır. Buradan hareketle dil ve etik olanın ilişkilendirilmesinde insan eylemleri ve söz edimleri kuramının bağlantıları gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde anlatı ve etik kavramları ele alınarak Ricoeur’ün adalet teorisinin arka planı ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın son bölümünde, Paul Ricoeur’ün “kendi” ve “başkası” arasındaki etik ilişkinin bir sorumluluk etiği merkezinde ele alınabileceğine değinilerek, adalet kuramı ve adil kurumlar düşüncesi ile ilişkisi gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Politik bir düzenin inşasında yıkıcı olabileceği gibi yapıcı da olabilecek bir dil, anlatı ya da söylem biçimi karşısında eleştirel bir bakış açısının önemi, Ricoeur felsefesi içerisinden anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır.

In this study, the relations between Paul Ricoeur's views on language, ethics and politics are discussed. In this context, a systematization has been made within the framework of the concepts of language, ethics and politics discussed in Ricoeur's philosophy. In the first part of the study, it has been tried to show how language and the political are related in the process from Ancient Greece to the 20th century and the philosophers who influenced Ricoeur's language analysis are included. Thus, it has been tried to show where Paul Ricoeur stands in language discussions. In the second part of the study, it has been tried to show the connections of human actions and speech act theory in associating language and ethics. In the third chapter, the background of Ricoeur's theory of justice is discussed by considering the concepts of narrative and ethics. In the last part of the study, it has been tried to show the relationship between Paul Ricoeur's theory of justice and the idea of just institutions, by mentioning that the ethical relationship between "self" and "other" can be handled in a center of responsibility ethics. It has been tried to show its relationship with the theory of justice and the idea of just institutions. The importance of a critical perspective in the face of a language, narrative or discourse that can be constructive as well as destructive in the construction of a political order has been tried to be understood within the philosophy of Ricoeur.
